    Nepal Ludo League

A live app for paid online Ludo tournaments, built with Flutter for Android, iOS and the web, and a Go and PostgreSQL backend. As a freelancer I owned how players pay to enter a tournament. I reworked the eSewa payments in both the API and the app, stored money as whole paisa to avoid rounding errors, and fixed bugs in live multiplayer games.

    What I built

    • Reworked eSewa checkout so payments go through end to end, on mobile and on the web. That included a new screen for when players come back from paying.
    • Fixed the payment check that was marking every successful payment as failed. Three small mistakes were stacked on top of each other.
    • Stored all money as whole paisa everywhere (API, admin dashboard and app), and only converted to rupees when showing it or talking to the gateway.
    • Made payment checks harder to fool. The server keeps its own record of each payment instead of trusting the app, logs any amount that doesn't match, and handles retries safely.
    • Fixed a cheat where one roll of six could move several tokens, and the stuck screens that came with it, by making the server the single source of truth for the game.
